Fishing Report, 27 May. The rains continue to come, the lake remains "above pool", meaning the lake is above what is considered its "normal" or planned level. In fact the lake has been 2 feet above pool 3 times in just the last month, has not gotten down to pool (surface at 345 feet above Mean Sea Level, the top of the spillway) since late January. Typically, the annual low water period usually ends around October, and we enter the bass and crappie spawn with a full lake in January, so, yes, the spawning season was interferred with, and crappie, bass, and white bass are being caught now that have deteriorating, unspent eggs
